The Mission Darkness™ Recon Faraday Drone Shield is a faraday bag specifically designed to shield drones and other small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) from radio frequency (RF) signals. The primary use is for blocking communication between the drone and the controller or ground control software guiding the flight, once a drone has been seized or captured. This allows the drone to remain isolated inside the bag so that it can no longer be controlled, have its data remotely transmitted or altered, GPS location tracked, or interfere with enemy targets. The Mission Darkness™ Recon Faraday Drone Shield is a faraday bag specifically designed to shield drones and other small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) from radio frequency (RF) signals. The primary use is for blocking communication between the drone and the controller or ground control software guiding the flight, once a drone has been seized or captured. This allows the drone to remain isolated inside the bag so that it can no longer be controlled, have its data remotely transmitted or altered, GPS location tracked, or interfere with enemy targets. The bag is built with a durable and water-resistant ballistic nylon outer material to ensure that devices and faraday fabric stay dry and protected. The interior includes two layers of high-shielding TitanRF™ Faraday Fabric on all sides with dual paired seam construction. This material has been lab tested and certified to shielding effectiveness standards MIL STD 188-125 and IEEE 299-2006. The liner blocks all wireless signals including WiFi (2.4 & 5GHz), Bluetooth, cell signals including 5G networks, GPS, RFID, NFC, and radio signals from low MHz to 40GHz. When a device is enclosed in the bag, no apps or malicious code can be remotely triggered or wiped, no communication can penetrate, and no one can access features such as the microphone, camera, GPS location, or data. Additionally, this prevents hacking, tracking, spying, chain of custody corruption, as well as EMP destruction.

The spacious boxy interior is large enough to fit most commercial drones plus controllers, carrying cases, and accompanying accessories. It collapses and folds into a compact size when not in use, allowing it to be packed in a smaller bag. The bag can also be used to shield other electronics, like portable power stations, evidence with embedded trackers, radios, GPS units, multiple laptops, tablets, cell phones, and similar-sized items. The kit includes a separate padded fire-resistant case to store the drone’s removable battery as well as a neoprene cinch bag to hold removable propellers. This separation helps keep accessories organized and secure during transport. Additional product features include a double roll with Velcro closure, unique serial number, and transparent branding pocket.

Mission Darkness™ faraday bags have a Velcro-sealable pocket on the back to place a business card or more permanent sticker. There is no need to silkscreen your department information on the bag.
